What do I use for wires?
There is cotton thread and plastic thread and both will sag or twist. There is also spandex thread that might be used.
Some people don't use any wires but their imagemation:-)
Another method that works, but is a lot of trouble. Using fine (28ga, 30ga, 32ga.) copper 'magnet' wire. When installed, there will be kinks, bends, and other 'stiffness'' that keep the wire from
looking right. The cure for this, is, using a _very controllable_ power source (*), run a voltage through the wire, large enough that the wire 'heats' [Enough to burn off the enamel for 'enameled'
magnet wire, probably what you will have been able to find in the way of fine wire.], a 'sags' into the proper looking 'catenary arc' between the poles.
(*) Needs to be _very_ controllable, because the 'wire heating' and sagging into place, will happen quite suddenly as you are increasing the applied voltage. You need to be watching, and kill the
applied power as soon as you are getting the 'look' that you want --- then 'on to the NEXT strand. (I said it was a lot of trouble.)
